cold air intake to VRS

Featured Replies

I'm sure a few members on here have.

Also VW racing R600. APR'S version.

Few on the golf forums have fitted one.

I've read comments that the finish product is not that great considering the cost. I'm sure there was a thread about it on one of the golf groups saying words to that effect. But others saying that it's good.

I personally can't say either way, as I've not got one. Saying that if I was going for an intake, it's what my money would go on.

I've been running the Revo MQB intake kit for the last 6+months and will be testing their carbon kit next week.  Its been on since I went Stage2 earlier this year and it is still there for the current Stage3 set up and works well, although I haven't compared against the others that have been mentioned.

Revolution Motorsport are doing the R600 intake for £299.

Cheapest out there at the moment.

If that helps anyone.

As is AwesomeGti, £299 reduced from £358 inc Vat.

Hadn't seen their updated prices. I don't think they are selling as well as VWR had hoped.

I must admit I'm more than happy with a K&N panel filter in the standard air box, however I did remove the baffle type thingy as well, it certainly wouldn't have helped airflow!
