Mk1vrs eml on?

Featured Replies

Hi guys I have a 03 octavia vrs and on the way to work the eml came on and has stayed on, the car and performance has not been affected so I'm hoping this is nothing serious. And known issues or things I can easily check, anything is much appreciated.

Easiest thing to do is have it scanned. Its could be many many things

Mine came on and it was the breather hoses at the front of the engine.....might be worth a look.

Honestly a hundred members could suggest a problem and a hundred members could be wrong. Only way to find out is to get it plugged in and find out for sure. Some garages do this for free, others charge £10/£15 if not you can buy yourself one off eBay. There pretty cheap and come in handy for future reference :)
