Has anyone else seen anything similar? Might friend (a policeman) tells me his force use Octavias these days..

Seen magnetic lights on car roofs - blue I think but no sirens - on firecheifs cars attending fires after dispatch of fire engines driven slowish, are you sure it was the police?

I've not seen any Fab vRS in the Abingdon 'parking lot' yet, if I spot one I'll try to dot the plates down

Followed an Octy VRS police driving instructor car in Darlington last week

It was in South West London - Wandsworth.

It definately had the siren on, but I couldn't say for sure if it was police or fire brigade...

probably not police. i'm a paramedic up north and our general managers have their cars fitted out with the whole blues an twos thing, in case a shout comes out near their location at the time. infact the general manager at my station is looking at the fabia vrs for his next car after i took him out in mine the other week.

Hertfordshire plod got a few Fabia vRSs to play with a month or so ago.

I was in Warwick the other week and heard sirens and it was an unmarked silver Octavia vRS!

In Banbury where I live there is a black Fabia Vrs with blue lights that is parked outside the fire station often.

Kent I believe have a Black Magic Fab Vrs as an unmarked police car.

Leicestershire police have a number of fairly standard Fabias alongside their Octy VRS's. As far as i know they don't have any Fabia VRS's yet.

i saqw one south here by the lake it dissapeared into the fog......
