Picked up a 53 Reg Red VRS a couple of months back, 14k on the clock and not a mark on it! Best 9,500 ever spent

Been reading a stack of threads around here and now have a list as long as my arm for future mods. The downside is my current insurer, elephant, are not keen on mods at all, especially if it means a power increase:( ..... new air intake, filter, springs etc on hold till next June. On a positive, fully comp for 290:)

One slight tweak I have been able to get away with is the dash, replaced the space with a Polo double cup holder and added a Alu dash kit from Sun-Stop. Happy with the result but I didn't use the bit for the light switch or the glove compartment as they didn't look right!

Yeah I did, the part number is 6x0 857 558a 01C. It's easy enough to fit but you need to pop in to your skoda dealer so they can release the stereo otherwise you cannot take the old tray out or the new one in!

Looks a good idea. A useful thing on a drive, cant see why skoda didnt just fit them,after all it is the top of the range model
