That's a 150Tdi Style (SE L equivalent) shown in the video. The 1.6Tdi will be the big seller here though.  The black and ivory is a nice contrast actually.  The rear wiper is always an option of course for those who are that way inclined

Absolutely concur. Having read comments about it 'spoiling the lines' and 'my Superb 2 never needed one', I finally got the opportunity to get in my car after a rainfall.

I know the glass had been treated and that was obvious by how the water drops had formed into largish globules on the rear window.

So rather than use the wiper I thought it was a great opportunity to see how effective it cleared without using the wiper.

The result, I'm sorry to say, was not good. I expected the movement of air over the rear window would clear it.

After about a mile at 25-30 mph much of the water was still lying on the back window. It seemed to get moved around the window rather than flow down and away.

Chuffed to bits I chose that rear wiper.

You can fit 10 dead bodies in the boot, eh?!
