I just recently purchased a Fabia, and have been looking at this forum from the sideline for the past week. I just registered and wanted to say hello, so here we go: Hello.

Although my Fabia only is a 1.4, it can still be driven pretty "Briskly".

When i look at the prices you guys pay for a car, i become very jalous. I`ve paid around 13.000 pounds for a Fabia 1.4 50kw from 2002 with 43K km on the clock. :eek:

Ohh well, maybe i should move to sweden og germany.

It is usually we in the UK who complain that cars are more expensive here than they are in other European countries. Do all cars cost more in Denmark, or just the rather wonderful Fabia?

Heresmo -> It is all cars here en Denmark. But yes, the Fabia could easily be more expensive, compared to its rivals. :-) A new Fabia 1.4 100bhp Elegance, costs around 19.500 pounds at the moment. So yes, it is tempting to move, if you like cars.

Well, it kinda is. For my age (21) it`s a very nice car, but there still is the occassional Skoda joke. But it`s very cheap to ensure. I pay around 650 pounds/year, and i`ve had my licence for around 2 years.

I don`t really like Copenhagen, too big and filthy. I live in the darkest of Jylland.....not really the darkest, but it`s still Jylland. :-)
