Hi all,

New to the forum and I'm very soon to be an owner of a Skoda!

I will be creating a project thread soon and I will also try and get along to a few of the South East meets for ideas and future plans for the car.

I have a few ideas for the car and I've got quite expensive taste! So I'm hoping you guys can help me bargain hunt

I pick it up this week!

First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it. That went well and it came to my place this last weekend. Early 2012, 1.2 TSI, 5sp manual, 158k miles on the clock. This is it, just after being washed. I have always thought my rear suspension a little soft when towing or even with a full tank. I fitted rubber assisters and this has helped hugely but I would like a little more permanent solution. How can I tell if springs such as these - https://www.autodoc.co.uk/lesjofors/9735347 are heavier duty? It does say for towing. Would fitting new shocks (Bilstein B6?) help as well? I suppose crawling under to see what shocks I have, and what springs I have may a good idea anyway? I think the

Hi, I bought a 2016 Skoda Octavia vRS 2.0 TDI (EA288 CUNA) about a month ago. It has 260,000 km on the clock, which is quite a lot, but the car has been properly serviced. What it says on the tin, really; recently my oil warning light came on, flashed a few times, made a really loud intermittent beeping sound, and then turned off again. This happened several times during a journey, but actually stopped after a little while. I checked the oil level, and its fine, so I reckon it's an issue with the oil pressure sensor/switch (I did get an OBD tool, but that came up as no error codes, so I'm really in the dark here).
