I'm starting this in the Octy 2 section as closest I can get to the CR170 engine.  Dad's TT is coming up with this fault and being on 85,000 miles (and totally original) I was wondering if perhaps the intake shut off flap thing had got a bit coked up?  Or, is this fault (if anyone has had it) is actually a faulty item which needs replacing (i.e the V157 as noted below)

  • Check Intake Manifold Flap
  • Check/Replace Intake Manifold Flap Motor (V157)
    • Perform Output Tests/Basic Setting
  • Check Wiring and/or Connector(s) from/to Intake Manifold Flap Motor (V157)
