classic for the vrs

Featured Replies

hello fellow briskodians,

i have a few questions. currently i have a 1.4mpi 2002 fabia classic with electric package which i brought this year for

Insurance will be more as it's a higher grouping (Gp 9) and a more powerful/desirable car ;) Economy should be slightly better than the 1.4, but remember that diesel is more expensive at the pump so you my want to do the sums to see how you sit ... I'd expect 50-60mpg out of the vRS and it has a 45 litre tank :D

I forget how much tax is on the petrol one, but I think the vRS is around

No probs :D I was weighing up between a V6, 2.0 petrol and a 2.0 diesel. Suffice to say, cost of fuel per year made the decision for me! Might get a V6 as my next car though

Chris

in reality u will find the vrs about 10mpg better than the 1.4, however both insurance and servicing costs are higher so i guess it would balance out. bottom line is that for similar running costs ya get a car with gti performance:thumbup:

That pretty much sums it up! Ask the dealer for a test drive, i reckon you'll then HAVE to have one, it makes you smile so much, lovely cars!
