want to change them but there are different sizes. anyway of finding out before i take them off the correct size.

Get a spanner and put the end around the arb. If a 17mm spanner fits over the arb the you need 17mm bushes. Get poly bushes and make sure they replace the crappy plstic sleeves. Dont reuse the plastic sleeves!. 30 quid ish from awesomegti.

They'll need a spray with wd40 once fitted to stop them squeaking but after a few miles the bounciness is gone.

If the TDI has the same problem with the plastic sleeves as the VRS does then try to get oversize bushes so that you can remove the sleeves completely. Sorry - I'm not sure what the size is you need but hopefully someone else will or you can measure yourself.
