Hi all. Sometimes when I unlock the car with the remote the drivers door wont unlock and I have to use the key to unlock it.

 

Any ideas what could be causing this??

had same problem me self in past and replaced lock (i got a new one off ebay from some seller in poland).in the past have also had lock failure which has resulted in me having to remove inner panels and hammer and chisel the lock off,this was not a nice job so if i were you id get new lock asap. I'm not technically minded but changing lock was simple.new lock cost less than £30 and was well worth it ,you don't want to wait till lock is totally kaputt

As above you need a new lock and you need it asap. Otherwise a 1hr job turns into a 3+hr one, and you'll probably destroy your door card in the process.

Just in case it fails before you get the part. ASAP go get the door open and undo the torx screws which are at the bottom/underneath your door card. These are what you can't get to with the door locked.

Plenty of new locks on eBay, just make sure you get the right/exact part no.
