I dont remember seeing anything about this in here. But if it has been posted before then apologies.

I went to my local Skoda dealer today ( to test drive the Octy2 TDi 2l ), and was told the following news.

The Roomster will be shown as an in production model at the Geneva motorshow early 2006.

It will go on sale in the UK in Q4 2006, the chassis will be slightly smaller than the Fabia, but the interior will be bigger than the Fabia

If it gets the 2l TDi, then I will be VERY interested, otherwise my next car will most likely be the vRS TDi and it will be a long term car.

Despite being anti people carrier (apologies to the usual suspects;) ) I am interested in the roomster.

Bit peeved that the Yeti looks like 2007release.Be bit dated by the time they come to sell it:rolleyes: .

hope it stays funky like the concept or ill be disapointed would be nice to see how differnt this car will be...what will the market be tho will it go against the Meriva and Wagon r stuff:confused:

i sold a VW Sharan to own my octy vRS but in some respects i miss the practicality of the people carrier concept, any i deas what engine it will have ??
