I am needing a new front door lock for my 1.9 sdi 2000 skoda octavia.

As the key/lock jams fully to the right and cant then turn back to the centre position to release the key from the lock.

 

Is there a better option out there than the skoda lock?

Have you tried squirting wd40 into it to free it up?

The locks are common across quite a few cars. I replaced both drivers side locks in our mkI Leon with locks from a Fabia.

@simspj  I did try squirting it with wd40, worked for a bit but not for long
