Featured Replies

cant seem to get one of these as mine sprung a leak  probably wrong section but dont know whichone cheers car is 2004

Moved to octavia section.

You mean the high pressure pipe from pump to rack? Really long one that has a rigid s-shaped section under the gearbox and flexible rubber section where the banjo is that attaches to the pump?

Mine went a few years back. Here's the thread: http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/192247-burst-power-steering-hose-aaargg/?hl=%2Bpower+%2Bsteering+%2Bpipe+%2Bburst#entry2291790

This is everything I changed. £134 from Skoda (with good discount).

1J0 422 893 GM - power steering pressure hose
8E0 422 529 - M14x1.5 rack banjo bolt (contains a 1-way valve)
N 013 849 5 - 14x20mm rack washer (x2)
WHT 001 800 (1J0 422 269 C) - M16x1.5 pump banjo bolt (hollow head for pressure sensor)
N 013 848 7 - 16x22mm pump washer (x2)

Can't help I'm afraid if it's the pipe from rack to reservoir. Never heard of them going. Feed hose from reservoir to pump is just held on with hose clamps so that's the easy one of the three!
