Decent battery for diesel - maybe a lightweight one?..

Featured Replies

Looks like I need to replace the battery in the mongrel.  Seems to have lost most of its capacity sadly.  Just wondering if there are maybe lightweight options which would be still capable of providing the juice to turn over a diesel. :)

Wouldnt it be better to get a more powerful one? Especially turning over a diesel this time of year?

Yep - but would like to hear of ones that might be a bit lighter than average :D

Of course in the long run it would be better if I lost a stone down the gym rather than worry about losing a few kg off the arse end of the mongrel. :)

Haha :D.

Without offence, in the bike world its not uncommon for riders to find grams off their bike.. But they forget that the biggest improvement is the weight and skill of the rider.

But none bother with that. Just 'shall i change to titanium blah blah' :D

I agree with Oli on this one

What about the gel batteries that people use when they install the big sound system in there cars.

Isn't the correct answer to "I need a new battery for a diesel" always "Varta"?
