Audi A3 rims...

Featured Replies

Hi. Just wondering if a set of 16" A3 alloys would fit my fabia 1.4 mpi? Or would it depend on their tyre size?

Found a set for a good price..

Cheers

Depends, the early A3 had 5x100 wheels like your Fabia, but the later ones (2001ish onwards) are 5x112 so won't fit without adaptors. The tyre size will likely be wrong for the Fabia.

I would not fit wheels bigger than 15 on an mpi fabia...it is way underpowered and it really doesn't need that extra grip in corners. It is already thirsty, you might not like the mpg getting with wider tires. I'm not ok with my summer 195/50/15, it is about1 0-15% higher than my winter 165/70/14. Just saying...

Not fussed about MPG as i dont travel far.

Im just sick of looking at my 3 wheel trims haha...

Looks like they are off an early model A3..

What size tyres are considered too big? And would the speedo etc be out?

They will probably 205/55/16, but I think you would need 205/45/16.  The difference in profile will probably make too much of a difference.
