DAB on MIB1 columbus

Featured Replies

does anyone know if DAB is a hardware thing with the Columbus (MIB1) unit or is it software.  if its hardware is it an extra module or replacement of the glovebox unit?

would be nice to know if i can add dab(+) to my car or do i have to replace the whole unit as that is not an option on the VRS here in OZ, whereas my wife got a my15 fabia and it has DAB on it

Not sure if the unit itself is just software - but presumably you need a DAB aerial but I can't recall if this is the roof shark fin or the ones in the rear quarter windows - do you have both?

I have the shark fin and the rear quarter window aerials.

I had my Bolero replaced with a Columbus + DAB. The DAB antenna used the rear quarter window aerial. I not have the shark fin since my gps-antenna is just hidden under the dashboard to avoid making a hole in the roof.
