Just wondering how many scottish members we have on here with Fabia VRSs.

Reason i am asking, was looking at the thread below about a possible group buy for the remap down south.

It has given me an idea. I am now seriously thinking about a remap. Just cannot make my mind up which route to take, there are so many choices.

But i suppose if there where enough scottish owners interested in a remap for there VRS, we could also try and strike a group buy/discount on a remap with one of the various tuners up this neck of the woods.

I will see what feedback i get from this post, then we will take it from there.

Just outside Glasgow mate, 1 mile of the M74 to be exact.

Yeh i know Star have done a fair few remaps for some of the peeps on here. Done a rolling road day with my Scoob with Jim up at star. Star would probably be one of my first choices, however i am intending to go down to Bedrock Veedubs in Motherwell at some point next week, as i understand they are Jabba agents.

Just noticed your location there mate. Over in Carluke myself, not in with the bricks though, just moved a couple of years ago, Wishy man, born and bread.

Got a huge shock today.

All this talk of remaps ect got me thinking that i had better contact Elephant to get some info on prices ect.

The questions they asked where

1- who fits the remap(is it skoda)

2-what percentage does it increase power

3-does it increase BHP

4-why do you want to remap/or tune it as they said.

5- Yes we will cover you, but its gona cost you an extra 200 quid, with 9 months of my policy to run.

i only paid 260 for the years insurance and they want a further 200 notes.

This was all based on a power increase of 20%

I think on pure principle i will have to put the remap on hold until my insurance is due for renewal.
