Oil temp sump plug

Featured Replies

Anyone had any experience with one?

There should be an OEM way of doing it. My ASZ Ibiza has an oil temp guage as standard.

Yeah I fitted one to my Pulsar. I brought a LMA one as it was the easiest way to connect up my oil temp gauge. Bear in mind I get between 15-20 degree difference than my stock gauge when cruising due to airflow over the sump, the temp will rise back up to about 80 degrees when stationary.

As above,I've got one and works fine :)

On my VRS the sump is blanked off where the OEM sensor would go,not a removeable blank either,a blank in the casting of sump.

So it would involve a sump swap to wire in a OEM one.
