Brighter reverse lights?

Featured Replies

Had a search on forum and found mixed opinions re. upgraded reversing lights.

Dark nights, and advancing age have led to a couple of near misses in the work car park, so after some brighter reversing lights.

Any recommendations?

Maybe something like this

Later edit: and/or this.

Reverse into the parking space in the morning, when it's (currently) lighter?

Or, when you get in the car after work, start the engine, leaving the lights off, and let it warm up for a minute or two while you stare at the darkest area in your field of vision, letting your eyes adapt to the light levels. Then switch the lights on and go.

Both free!

Or, indeed, manoeuvre the car on sidelights, and don't activate the headlights until you're out of the space and about to drive off?

For added brightness - there's always rear fogs ,and hazards. And (naughty- add a switch across the brake switch). That's 40 W white and 80 W red, plus 40 W hazard. .
