fault codes duff pump ?

Hi ive been having dreaded loss of power on my 2002 1.9 tdi ALH octavia it happens mostly going uphill or when accelerating it had a recon turbo about a year ago .. Ive put new battery, temperature control sensor , cleaned muck out of tank pick up and have cleaned egr out all to no avail took car to get scanned and came back with 17552 Maf sensor open or shorted to ground- intermittent..................17656 start of injection timing regulation -control deviation- intermittent.....................17964 charge pressure control negative devition. I was told diesel pump is naffed and would need either new pump @ £900 or reconditioning he knows more than me but does anyone have any other ideas? also he wasnt sure about getting second hand pump  as he wasnt sure it could be paired up with my ecu any help or advice appreciated Thanks Rich
