The removal of the windscreen wiper blades on my 1.2 TSi is very straight forward but I can see no simple way of replacing the rubber.  I am loathed to apply to much force to the plastic clip at the end of the wiper unit just in case I break it.  Is it just a case of prising it off gently?  Has any one purchased wiper blade refills and successfully fitted them?  Or is it a case of buying a complete unit as a replacement?

Best thing to do is buy full replacement ones. They can be bought quite reasonably...

...Or on ebay, you can get a set of there (Inc rear wiper) For around a tenner but they WONT be Bosch. I cannot vouch for their effectiveness and longevity.
