Auto DSG vRS Mats

Featured Replies

Hi,

Can anyone help please, My new car has only come with the front mats included.. but they don't have the vRS logo either..

Can anyone confirm the part number or link to a set of vRS Logo mats suitable for the DSG version..(FL if it makes any difference?)

(I've searched the forum but cant find any)

The FL Mk2 vRS Octavia never came with Logos on the mats..but you should have all 4

You can get Mk2 Pre FL mats wth vRs Logos on the front mats..Just ask at your dealer

ALL mats fit DSG and Manual versions

Never even noticed the rear weren't fitted !

Just saw the front ones.. It's a shame there are no logos as it ads a little touch

Will have a look next time I'm near the dealers.. Or maybe I will check eBay if I can't wait ;-)

Go careful if you have bluetooth module fitted under the driver's seat as some mats won't fit, they are longer and have a lip which fills the space on non bluetooth cars.

Not so..At least..Ive never heard of this

.......The only difference is that some come with a push fit and others with turn fit attachment

Tis so, I speak from bitter experience :)

I honestly have never heard of this at all

Can you provide more detail...When I bought new ones for my car, it was never mentioned

Yes sure, when I'm on my PC later I'll upload the comparison photos.

Many thanks

The 4 pictures below tell the story - note the comparison with the original mats supplied with the car. At the time, the dealer (Rainworth Skoda) stocked another set of genuine mats without the VRS logo which did *not* have this extra lip - but they were about £8 more so I bought some cheap and cheeful mats in the end and apart from being a bit thin, are perfectly fine considering the price (can't remember how much, but around a tenner :))

I do seem to remember running into this mat problem on my old VRS (a pre FL) when I had the bluetooth module retro-fitted only to find the mat no longer fit.

I have put the mat under my BT module so fits tidy

Sent from my Galaxy S5

Yes that's an option. I think I had to bend the metal bracket which covers the module slightly on my last car to fit, but I never liked the way it looked.

Just giving Dwabo a heads up is all, forewarned is forearmed and all that :)

Pretty sure I don't have Bluetooth.. However I do have the option on the Bolero and can tick/untick it on the screen but I can't 'find' it by searching on my phone.

All Bolero have the buttons, but you can't connect if you don't have the module

I'm aware of the buttons. But isn't the option of connecting via Bluetooth usually greyed out on screen ?

On mine I can tick & untick the option to connect via Bluetooth.. Is this also normal ?

Yes..Normal
