Rare as in not very common yes, but not as in hens teeth. eBay currently has 4 or 5 for sale if you include a couple of estates.

Yep prices for old cars in NZ stay relatively high compared to UK. Our national fleet average age is something like 13 years.

I suppose cars over there don't die from rust as much as over here

True - we don't salt the roads and snow is rare in the North Island - except up the mountains.

I used to have one of these, bought it pre-reg at 5 months old back in 2002, awesome car, quicker off the line in the wet than a MkI vRS
