I am wondering if anyone knows the size limit for the SD Card slots on the Columbus system?

 

Currently looking at these from Amazon as they are on the lightening deals, and can then get ahead with converting my cd's to multi-channel lossless files ready for the new car in March.

The manual states SD types SD, SDHC and SDXC are suported. The thoretical maximum of SDXC is 2Tb although the max you can get at the moment I think is 512Gb (very pricey). They'll work fine, but you’re still probably paying more than necessary. Ideal for use with a digital camera and other devices that regularly need to write to the card, but overkill for the Columbus which only needs to read the card.

I got these 128GB from amazon and I've had no reliability or performance issues with them and they're £20 cheaper. I have a varied mixture of mp3 (mostly 320kbps and VBR), m4a and FLAC on the cards.
