The Columbus system, can you stream films/videos/apps from an iPhone?

No.

There is no mirroring function.

Videos are played audio-only with a still thumbnail of the video, as per this screen...

This is regardless of whether you use BT, USB or Wi-Fi (WLAN).

Only by enabling Apple CarPlay will you be able to access apps and then only those deemed suitable by Apple, which does not include any video apps.

The system will also only display 720x576 pixel format MP4 video. Any higher and it's audio only too.

In other words - "DVD" or "Standard Definition" (in case anyone was thinking of using computer software to rescale their HD video and unsure which settings to use).
