First post so sorry if im in the wrong section

I have just picked up my 62 plate octavia vrs tdi

It has the manual 6 speed and no steering wheel controls.

So to my question..., the previous owner has had a nokia ck200 bluetooth car kit fitted and it seems to have disabled all of the phone functions on the columbus head unit.

Will removing the kit allow me to pair my iphone 5 with the car?

They've fitted it because the car hasn't got the Bluetooth module required to use via the columbus

You could get the module fitted by a skoda dealer etc.

If you really wanted the multi function wheel, you can add that too, but it's not cheap.
