As the title says, can you retrofit a MFSW without seeing a dealer for any part of it? Or is it worth only getting this done at a dealership?

 

Have identified these parts:

MFSW

Wiring Loom

would I need the below gateway still?

 

Or can I go for the buttons and fit them to my non MFSW somehow?

Loom

Gateway?

 

But if it needs to be programmed etc I would need to find a dealer who can help as I don't have any kind of tool to do that and would prefer not too.

You can fit it yourself and get someone local to you with VCDS to code it.
