Keyhole Lock

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

Out of curiosity I tried to use my key in the drivers door to lock and unlock the car, as you should be able to. I found the when I turned the key nothing happened and the lock just span round and round, whilst being pulled slightly into the door. I'm sure they worked when I bought the car, as I tried them, but haven't used them since.

Have I done something wrong with the lock, and what should I look at to start fixing it?

I don't want to get out to the car one day and find my key fob battery is dead and I can't get into the car!

Thanks!

It's a safety / anti theft feature. Try pushing the key in further

I've tried to push the key further in, and have had no joy. The key still spins round in the lock.

I'd guess someone has bust your lock. Hopefully wrong though.

Any damage showing?
