Hey all,

I've got myself a new Pioneer SPH-DA120 and fitted it on an evening. It powered up first time and saved radio presets easily, however on turning off the ignition and powering it up again it went back to set up and had lost everything. All the supplied harnesses fitted (except for steering wheel controls obviously) but I can't think of anything else that would make it not work correctly.

If anyone can think of anything that may help please feel free to suggest things.

The harnesses can often have the permanent and ignition live switched via bullet connectors in the wiring harness supplied with the radio.  Give it a go.  Sounds like they are switched.

That is the case on vw audi skoda and vauxhall motors swap the yellow and red wires round as said in original reply that should work
