Annoying - Fuel gauge

Featured Replies

You seem to have been sold a Lemon and the Dealership seems happy to keep getting paid for the Warranty Work they are doing while providing a rubbish courtesy car,  because VW UK are paying them a good hourly rate for repairing faults from a poorly built car.

Didn't get given a Polo this time.

They gave me a big Golf people carrier thing. Took it into the red and only 20 miles on the range put in £4.16 of diesel and bingo it instantly registered the fuel on the gauge when I put the ignition on and the range increased to 70 miles, that is what the 2 x Polo's did NOT do.

So at least the Golf is reading OK.

Wonder what a Golf R does.

Have they let you have it back long enough to find out?

:(

I never let my cars go that low.

As it was a loan car they come virtually empty, that was how I noticed this with the others.
