Worries about ignition and lock replacement

Featured Replies

I'm totally non-technical so please excuse any jargon blunders.  We had our spare set of Fabia keys stolen.  The insurers have agreed to pay for a new lock set.  The garage called us when the new set arrived and came round with a courtesy car.  But they have had the car for 19 days now and still no sign of it coming back.  I spoke to the insurers last week about the delay and they were satisfied that it was a complex job hence the delay. But I'm wondering what the garage has been doing to our car for 19 days.  Perhaps it's a courtesy car scam and /or the garage don't really know what they are doing.  I am obviously imagining the worst.  Any thoughts appreciated.  Best wishes, Michael

This is stupid!

Pay a visit to the garage without delay, suspect they have damaged it when collected.

19 days is 18 days too long.

Id pop round unexpected, catch em off guard, watch their reactions when you ask questions.
