Oil use all of a sudden

Featured Replies

I had to top up from just above bottom notch on the dip stick, 2 months since last oil change..i check the oil every 2 weeks, so this has come all of a sudden. No signs of a leak. or blue smoke. Turbo  has done less than 5k, same as intercooler.

This seems to have happened as the temperature outside has dropped.

I have noticed a slightly noisier engine on idle.

Any suggestions?

Are you getting any extra smoke at all?  Loss of performance?  Could be turbo seals even thought its fairly new,

of course the other thing could be the bottom end is burning it, but would hope that would show itself in other serious symptoms.

No mate every thing seems fine, in fact not even a wisp of smoke since fitting the hybrid, i can tell my back is always clean  - so to speak. But maybe its hidden as hybrid is under powered atm with stock map.
