Need help setting my Octavia 1.8 elegance 2010 plate upin milton keynes.

The VCDS section might help, there are both VCDS owners threads and even a map to help you find a local member.

When you've had a few more posts you should be able to PM other members to arrange something.

What are you looking to do with VCDS, that might help too :)

i have been told i need someone with vcds or whatever diagnostic kit is needed to activate drls, and see if the headlight washer can be deactivated,or what number for the headlight washer is the fuse.thanks langers2k.

Aston bodger is Milton Keynes based and on the VCDS owners list. Probably your closest bet and was online this morning: http://www.briskoda.net/forums/user/31014-aston-bodger/ drop him a PM :)

If I remember correctly you want to look in byte 15 for the DRL and byte 20 for the headlight washers.

If you have xenons then working washer jets are legally required so please only consider turning them off for standard halogens. Personally, I'd keep the washers, if anything reducing their frequency.
