Fail idle, Error code 029C = Voltage terminal 30 ?

Featured Replies

I have problems with idle ...

If I go on like 2000 rpm and drop accelerator motor just die

If I VERY carefully lower rpm down to normal 700 it wobble like 5 sec between 300-700 and then go steady into normal 700 rpm

Once it's steady it's ok until I raise and drop rpm again

So any red light or stopping is just a hassle ;)   doing brake&acc at the same time

It's a little on/off . One trip out of 10 problem is gone. No real pattern to it ... like if it's cold/warm etc

Kinda random

Most times it's ok first 5 min but a few times I have problem right from beginning, motor cold

I have fault codes

0208  Air mass/flow meter-G70/G19

0219  Lambda control

029C  Vehicle voltage terminal 30

first check I also had  023F Intake mainfold pressure. That one did not reapper after clear so not sure it's relevant

Q1  What/where is voltage terminal 30

Q2  What G70/G19 stand for

Any other info concerning this error codes and problem will be appreciated.

Like any way to test sensors/controls/meters

So I can decide best path of trouble shoot

It's a gasoline,manual sedan  Year 2000 ....

Thanks

Found a test instruction for MAF on net. Problem is that was for a 5 pin connector.

My car have a 4 ping connector.

Anyway per instruction one pin should have  12 V and one pin 5 V, to ground.

I just had 5 v on one pin, the one most near rounded edge of connector.

So to me maybe that is sign of bad feed to MAF

Can someone provide pin and test value for my 4 pin connector please

Thanks

Bosse
