For UK buyers.... SE & SE Business - Combi Black Roof Rails - (Build Week)

 

Does anyone know which week number the black roof rails on the combi become standard fitting on a SE or SE Business? 

 

(Reason I ask is that silver is no longer even a payable extra on these models now. )

 

My order detailed silver rails on the initial quote, however its been switched now to the black ones. (comes under spec subject to change clause)

Mine was build week 46 and has come with silver if that helps. I was half expecting black ones as it was right around the time they started being in short supply

Some say it is due to stock levels that the silver got dropped on the mid level trim cars, (SE/SE business) or Amition on the EU,   Is this a permanent trim level change of short term does anyone know ?

 

I really liked the silver rails and would of added as a extra if it was an option.

Silver rails is for Elegance/Style only here in Denmark. Not even available as an option to lower levels. Same as SII.

Ordered my company car mid November - just got email saying that roof rails will be chrome rather than black due to supply issues??

To add to confusion I ordered an SE Business Hatch - I thought only the estate had the roof rails - so has my order been taken wrongly?

I ordered on around the 5th Nov but the order did not get keyed and approved until the 11th. The week or 2 before ordering the rails where chrome... when i got my order confirmation it state black. (same as website.)

 

Rails are only on the Combi (estate) and no rails on the Hatch.

Looks like I will have to contact the leasing company - yet another delay
