favorit 1.3 injection to carb?

Featured Replies

hello fellow skoda lovers across the pond

Recently I bought a favorit 1.3 GLXi because I needed a cheap car fast.

While driving home I right away fell in love with it.

But after a couple of months it needs a little more go :)

So my question to you guy's is how to go about with this.

Are there carb conversion kits about or something?

Thanks in advance :)

In my experience injection cars have better drivability (and sometimes a little more go everywhere except peak power revs) than near standard carburettor ones.

So I'd think about tuning what I'd got, unless you're contemplating a Weber sidedraft conversion?

Largely depends on your emission regulations. Most carb set ups were made redundant when catalytic converters came about.

As far as emissions go, for the moment its my daily driver but ones I've finished my vw bus, she will start a new life on the circuit :)

At the moment I'm thinking of putting some Webers or maybe Yamaha carb's on her to begin with, and in the future maybe a 1.6 from the felica.
