Has anyone used the £300 cam kit from Darkside, going to be putting a new belt on next year and decided as I'm keeping the car long term and there's slight scoring on the cam as good measure I'm gonna do the cam and followers but can't justify the dealer price, don't usually fit non genuine stuff but darkside seem to have a good rep

Slight scoring isn't an issue right away.  Check the tappet tops and if they seem OK, don't worry to any massive degree.

 

I'm sure their cam kit is fine.

Thanks hutchy for your links, it's not a worry to be honest it's more long term maintenance and peace of mind whilst I'm doing the belt as it will be due in March, it's had near enough everything else haha

Good idea imo whilst the belt is being done if you can see scoring
