Hello,

Thought I'd say a quick hello as Iv just got a daily driver to take the miles away from my MK5 Golf Edition 30 DSG which has become a bit too messed around with for daily duties.  If anyone would like to see the car the link is here - http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,69555.0.html - the build thread has over 20 pages now so is a long read but I'v done some cool things to it.

Iv bought a 2004 Octavia Estate 1.9 TDi Elegance with 115k on the clock, the car has been really well cared for by it previous owner and clearly been loved.  It has park sensors, sunroof and cruise which I think were options and its a blue/grey/silver colour with dark interior.  I will get some pics up and start a build thread.  I was planning to keep it completely standard and just use it as a tool to get to and from work, but I don't think I can help myself with cars lol.  So I'v had it a week and already managed to get a complete VRS interior including steering wheel, Full internal LED kit, Pinoneer Apple Car Play double Din stereo, universal steering wheel control stalk for the stereo and tinted the rear windows.  Gonna be fitting it all next week - the interior is drying in the garage at the moment as it was covered in dirt when I collected it - paid £80 so gets what you get really.  They have come up very well though

Anyway - Hello everyone and I will start a build thread when I start fitting the bits

Cheers,

Jim
