I have started to get overboost / limp mode problem. I obivously suspect sticking vanes. I am I right in thinking the actuactor is the rod coming out of the cylindrical thing with the vacuum hose ( could somebody post a picture)if it is it is REALLY stiff to move. I might attempt the Mr Muuscle fix, where is the best/ easiest place to get it into the turbo on this model?

Just a tought is it possible to map out or alter the overboost figure as a lot of tuners increase the turbo boost as a method of increasing poer

P.S it's my own fault as I have been driving VERY gently at low revs to get 50 mpg average. Although damage may have been already done in clogging vanes I am going to blast it in 4th at 4000rpm for a distance if it stays out of limp mode.
