Had an Octavia II petrol vRS with DSG box for about 5 weeks now and already clocked up 2k miles.  Too much local driving means quite heavy fuel consumption, particularly so following on from a 1.9 diesel Grand Punto, 130bhp and just short of 60mpg.  Fuel consumption notwithstanding I am loving the car, far superior to the Fiat in every way.  It is in fact my wife's car but I grab the keys at every opportunity,  Looking forward to absorbing some of the Skoda expertise and wisdom which is no doubt available on this Forum.
