According to Elsa, until the mid of 2010 skoda used separate stalks without integrated controller, but later on used stalks joint together with controller integrated into coil housing and that is why retrofitting cruise control is going to be kind of expensive in your case. You may have to replace both stalks as well as the coil spring along with the controller.

Think it's a no go then too expensive. Thanks for all your input. Plus side did manage to get a used genuine armrest centre console.

get VCDS, code it nad you will see if there is support.

 

my old 2006 1Z3 had all in. I installed new lever, coded all and enjoy cruise control
