I had a Golf mk1 GTI just like that, silver

Mine was a rustbucket too lol, never got to really appreciate a good one, still left a soft spot though.

Makes me think back to the mk1 in my vRS to be honest, despite being a derv there are definitely some similarities aren't there.

 

Mine was a Y plate and had TNT in the plate, wonder if its still running or scrapped.

Great that they sort out cars for people that are ill etc.

Never had a mk1 Golf myself,but do like them.

Had a mk1 XR2 instead

I watch it too never had a mk1 but always wanted one maybe one day I'll get 1 as a 2nd car I do keep looking
