key fob for fabia estate 2009

Featured Replies

HI

I Bought a fabia estate 2009 about a year ago from a second hand dealer the car came with two keys both skoda and two round fobs witch i didn't think any thing of at the time as the central locking worked just fine.

a year on and the fobs are broken I have been to two scoda garages and they say they have never seen a key with a round  fob and it must have been retrofitted with an alarm ( it doesn't have and alarm)

I am now wondering if the central locking was retrofitted or some one at some point replaced the keys  but not with an all in one.

so should i buy a replacement key with a remote and get it programed to the car or find two fobs and get them programed to the car ?

any help gratefully received
