Balance shaft timing

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm one of the very lucky guys who has just suffered a brocken oil pump chain. When this happened it also sheared the teeth off the crank shaft sprocket, after locating a replacement from Bilstein at a cost of £30 (Fabi wanted £680 as they said it was only available with crank shaft) I have finaly fitted my new sprocket and am ready to install my new chain / tensioner. At the moment the engine is timed as I have removed the cam belt, but now I need to time the balance shaft, can anybody help with the timing marks.

Sorry. im no help but just curious as to what mileage your car has for this to happen?
