Xman tubular short manifold

Featured Replies

Guys I've got a mk4 golf (ARL 150), I'm going the 2260 route soon and I've been speaking to xman.

He suggested the cost effective tubular short manifold in place of the more extravagant ones.. But the short manifold doesn't hold the turbo in the stock position. So would require a custom downpipe.

Does anyone on here run this short manifold? If so, how have you got a downpipe for it?

Is it just a case of getting the normal downpipes used for 2260 conversions and having some sort of adapter/flange that will mate it to the turbo?

Appreciate everyone's knowledge on this,

Thanks

The only experience I have on this is I have the Darkside manifold which puts my 2260 in a different position, but I bought the downpipe to suit, and the intake and boost outlet was all made up from silicone parts / alloy joiners etc.

the downpipe needs to be made on the car there is no bolt on solution for it any decent exhaust place should be able to sort that out for you we will be developing downpipes to go with the short manifolds too but it takes time and it's going to take 2-3 months
