I find it's not so much the handbrake, as you can loop your arm round the armrest and yank it. It's the seat belt which is a pain because the armrest storage box is exactly where you need your hand to be to do up the buckle. My armrest spends a lot of its life swung up out of the way, and really only gets used when cruising.

I find it's not so much the handbrake, as you can loop your arm round the armrest and yank it. My armrest spends a lot of its life swung up out of the way, and really only gets used when cruising.

No problem with the handbrake here either. I find you can just bend your hand under the armrest and apply it. No problems with the seat belt either.

My armrest spends all it's time 1 click from as low as it can go (slightly below horizontal). I find this way, you arm rests on the armrest (funnily enough!!) and your hand is at the correct level for the gear lever.

I love mine!!
