Any of the CR170 tdi guys running one? Recently purchased one second hand from a fellow brisky member and chuffed with the results of the box. Cracking fella too.

Anyway the point I'm wanting to address is what map settings are you all running without any issues. I'm currently on 2-2 which is what it was set at on last owners vrs. It's very smooth but feel as though I could do with a little more torque at low revs. High end bhp is sweet at the moment so don't really wanna compromise the bhp.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

I think the stock setting was 3.1 so you could start there. from what I remember some engines were ok with higher settings and some were not plus the way it was driven made a difference too. I think the adventurous ones had a play and if  the eml light came on or it went into limp mode they reduced the setting. Have a search in the mk2 section I'm sure there's at least 1 thread on it

It's clearly defective, so I will generously offer £20 for parts

It is now mate. One of my cable ties wasn't tight enough and it's caught on the fan cutting through the boost wires. Soldering iron will be making an appearance now haha

Do they do these for the Octavia 1.6 TDI at all?

Box up and running again. Now on 4-2 and pull is great. Want to try 4-3 max setting but unsure.

I am on max setting 4-3 and its ok. No faults. No issues with smoothness while speeding up. And pulls like a hell Now i need to focus on my dsg chipbox as the torque is limited by gearbox.

Gutted ill be lowerng mine down now as got the dreaded coil light flashing and car cut out in middle of the road. Gonna go 4-1 and take it from there I think. It's a shame cos +3 made alk the difference.

The +3 setting may or may not throw any errors up until you've done 1000+ miles or more.
