Service Plan - monthly cost?

Featured Replies

I'm leasing a Superb, due in March and will be taking out a service plan with my local dealer.

Anyone already done this, how much a month is it? Will have my car for 3 years.

Thx!

The brochure quotes £479 for a Service Plan for 3-Years or 30k miles, be aware that you will be switched from variable servicing to Annual Servicing as part of this package and it only covers servicing, it doesn't cover tyres etc.

I've not seen monthly rates for this.

Have you priced the cost of adding maintenance to the lease? I've done this on my 24 month lease at £6 a month.

The normal Skoda plan is £479, dividing by 36 months is £13.30 per month

If leasing, might get a better deal adding maintenance. But check what it includes, if you still have to pay for consumables then might be poor value.

If you are coming from a mercedes, then Skoda isn't normally as costly, where I live SW London I'm aware of premium brands charging about £100+ per hour for labour so a national plan rate makes sense as it is based on average labour rates across whole country. conversely if you live in an area with lower than average labour rates, don't buy the plan, just pay normally each time.
