Recently changed from a Honda CR-V iVtec to an Octavia 2.0Tdi PD Elegance Estate.

So far very happy

Naturally I considered a diesel CR-V but the on the road price and the mpg figures meant the Skoda won. Only problem was no 2.0 engine in the 4x4 estate :(

Now I realise I could have had one of those and visited the Derv Doctor.

Oh well the recent snow didn't last too long round here.

Did a 750 mile run back from France the other week. Cruise control set at 130 Kph(ish) for mile after mile on the autoroute. Plus a fair amount of non-motorway work.

Averaged 63 mph & 47 mpg
